Kris Perry has been appointed to the role of Engineering Operations Manager at Energy Trading Ireland (ETI).

As Engineering Operations Manager for energy solutions specialist ETI, Kris is responsible for managing the firm’s Control Centre including its state-of-the-art Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system that can monitor and control various generation technologies. Kris also helps organise and co-ordinate site surveys, new installations and Grid Connection Applications for customers availing of demand response services.

Previously Operations Manager for renewable O&M provider Everun, Kris worked closely with NIE Networks and has extensive experience of Embedded Generation Connections. In this role he was responsible for the commissioning and protection testing of more than 70 wind turbines. Kris also holds a Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Queen’s University, Belfast.
